Russia: “SUN Interbrew” to increase presence in Russian north-west beer market

“SUN Interbrew” officially initiated the increase of brewing capacities in Saint-Petersburg by starting the second turn of “InterBeer” brewery. Mr. Joseph V. Strella, President of “SUN Interbrew” and officials from Puskin and Saint-Petersburg cities administrations have attended to the inauguration of new capacities.

“SUN Interbrew” holds tightly to the Russian north-west beer market. The district is a key position for the Russian brewing business. By starting the second turn, “InterBeer” will augment beer production from 2.3 million hl up to 4.8 million hl per year, which will provide a solid ground for “SUN Interbrew” to extend its presence in the Russian beer market.
